Retractable Screen Doors

These award-winning retractable screen doors are unobtrusively elegant when in use and disappear into their custom casing when you don’t need them. This means you get the most out of your screen by protecting it from the elements and you won’t have a second door to open and close.

There are also 30 types of mesh and a variety of colours (including wood grain) available to match your home.

Mesh Lock

Want to keep your small pets in? We’ve got a solution for you! Our door screens now have the option of mesh lock – a captured edge solution that adds an additional layer of protection by securing the mesh in the top and bottom tracks.

This solution helps prevent small pets from escaping, unwanted pests from entering, and mesh blowing out from the track. Phantom’s retractable door screens with mesh lock deliver even more comfort for your peace of mind.

Latch Stop

Though it may be just a screen door, for many people, the ability to lock the retractable screen provides them with greater peace of mind.

This new locking feature helps deliver an elegant solution for those who want a sense of security that the latching handle alone doesn’t provide.

XL Screens

Phantom’s retractable screens for large openings disappear out of sight when not in use. They feature customized stopping points along the track and an integrated quick-release thumb latch to provide easy in and out access.

This manually operated retractable screen retracts horizontally and completely out of sight when not in use. While in use, the mesh is secured in the track to prevent blow-outs in breezy conditions.

Executive Screens

Only there when needed, motorized screens retract out of sight at the touch of a button. Suitable for all large openings (as large as 40 feet wide and 16 feet tall), motorized Phantom Screens blend with any architectural style.

Motorized retractable screens by Phantom provide insect protection, climate control and solar shading without blocking your views.

Window Screens

When you’ve selected high quality windows for your home, you want to ensure that their design remains unobstructed. Phantom Screens has designed our retractable window screen for this very purpose. Unlike conventional fixed screens, Phantom’s window screens don’t obstruct your view — they retract out-of-sight when you don’t need them.

Providing solar shading, enhanced privacy and protection from insects while maintaining views, retractable window screens are perfect for most window types.

Does your screen need servicing?

One of the standout features of Phantom Screens, offered by Canadian Closet as the Central Alberta Dealer and Distributor, is their low-maintenance nature. Thanks to their retractable design, these screens remain housed during inclement weather, requiring minimal upkeep. We recommend a light cleaning once or twice per season to remove any dust particles from the mesh.

Simply use mild detergent and water to gently wipe them down. Alternatively, you can rely on our full-service department to handle the cleaning and preparation for the season.

While our retractable screens are highly durable, accidents may occur from time to time. Fortunately, the mesh can be replaced, and most components are repairable or replaceable. Just reach out to us, and we'll swiftly have your screen back in action.

If you’re looking to save a little on service fees, we do rescreening in-store. Simply remove the door by following these instructions and bring it in to us.
